The official follow-up to the debut Pro Sequentia. Sixty minutes of retro-based music: sequencers, mellotron sounds and melodies in the style of the great electronic records made between 1976 and 1985, with a few newer elements added.
The theme is alchemy. For two thousand years alchemists gave everything they had to a search for wisdom and eternal life. They never turned lead into gold and they never became immortal, but chemistry was born in their laboratories, and surrealism borrowed a great deal from the way they saw the world. What they were really after was something closer to home: the self.
Recorded and mixed between February and August 2006 at the MiniMinus studio.
